Beschreibung
Die mit der herstellerseitigen Konfiguration (factory default configuration) vorhandenen Parameter für die IP-Adressen und Netzwerk-Masken für die Netzwerk-Interfaces der Geräte werden nachfolgend beschrieben.
Bei Geräten mit zwei Netzwerk-Interfaces wird die SmartNode mit dem Netzwerk WAN (ETH 0/0) mit dem lokalen Netz verbunden. Dies ermöglicht der SmartnNode ein Routing zu PC-Hosts auf dem Interface LAN (ETH 0/1).
Die Smartnodes sind mit Auto-MDX Ethernet-Interfaces ausgestattet, sodass normale bzw. 'cross over'-Netzwerkkaben verwendet werden können.

1 Interface ETH 0/0 (WAN) has a DHCP client running AND a fixed IP address.
2 Both Ethernet interfaces are activated upon power-up. Interface ETH 0/1 (LAN) provides a default DHCP server (DHCP Address Range 192.168.1.10–192.168.1.99). Interface ETH 0/0 (WAN) uses DHCP client to automatically assign the IP address and network mask.
